The same pool clean and blue again

Pool acid wash across the High Desert and Inland Empire

Give your pool a fresh, cleaner look. We offer pool draining and acid washing for suitable plaster pools with stubborn stains and discoloration.

When a pool needs an acid wash

If your plaster is stained, discolored or has algae embedded in the surface that brushing can’t remove, an acid wash may be necessary. It gives your pool a fresh start and brings the brightness back to the finish.

An acid wash is for plaster pools. The pool is drained, and the wash takes a very thin layer off the plaster surface, along with the stains in it. Because it takes off a little plaster each time, it isn’t something a pool needs often.

Green to clean

A pool that has gone green is full of algae, and once it sets into the plaster, chemicals and a brush don’t always bring it back. Green-to-clean pool transformations are part of what we do.

Tell us how long the pool has been green and send a photo or two. We’ll tell you what it needs.

Tile cleaning and acid wash in one visit

Ask about combining tile cleaning and acid washing during the same visit, and about our same-day tile cleaning and acid wash options. With the pool empty, the whole tile line is easy to reach.

What an acid wash costs

Every pool is different! Pricing depends on the size of your pool, how stained the plaster is and how easy it is to get to. We offer free estimates with straightforward pricing and no hidden surprises.

Acid wash questions

How do I know if my pool needs an acid wash?

If your plaster is stained, discolored or has algae embedded in the surface that brushing can’t remove, an acid wash may be necessary. It gives your pool a fresh start and restores brightness to the finish.

Do you drain the pool?

Yes. An acid wash is done on an empty pool, so it gets drained first. Tile cleaning on its own only needs the water about 6 inches below the tile.

Can every pool be acid washed?

Acid washing is for plaster pools. We look at your pool first and tell you whether it’s a good fit.

Can you clean the tile at the same time?

Yes. Ask about combining tile cleaning and acid washing on the same visit.
